Yes folks, it’s time for the first ever CCOPC “Eat ‘n Eat”. If you’ve ever stayed away from the “Feet ‘n Eat” because you can’t [or don’t like to] hike, this is your big chance to join in on the fun of a CCOPC field trip.
Many of you have heard me prattle endlessly about the sublime comfort food available at the Bluebird restaurant in Morristown (in Shelby County). Well, last week Pastor Mark mentioned to me that he and Patti were going to go and check it out for themselves. We offered to join them (we know that the Bluebird is worth the drive!), and after a few minutes of chatting, decided to see if others would like to join us as well.
So here’s your chance. We’re planning on hitting the Bluebird buffet early in the evening of Saturday, February 14th… weather, health, and the usual disclaimers permitting. We’d love for you to join us.
Here’s the Bluebird Facebook page:
Here are some Urbanspoon reviews (I’d give the fried chicken 5 stars out of 5):
Oh, and if you didn’t yet read this from last week’s Pastor’s Post-it, you should definitely wait until *after* the Eat ‘n Eat 😉
Mark your calendars!
